This project will create a community kitchen in the Rick Holder Farmers Market Annex. In response to increasing requests from farmers/vendors, community members, and potential vendors, LCFM will add capacity to the Market by renovating the Annex to house a community kitchen, a fully inspected, code-compliant facility vendors can use to prepare foods for sale at the Market. The kitchen will include space for planned healthy food preparation classes and demonstrations, generating increased Market vendors’ sales.
