This project restores and sustains Cleveland County Fair’s (CCF) ability to effectively showcase agriculture and promote agribusiness in Cleveland County and the surrounding region by facilitating critical repairs to aging agricultural buildings and farmer operated permanent food stands on the fairgrounds. These facilities include the Dorton Exhibit Hall, Weathers Livestock Arena, Poultry Barn, and Farm Adventures Building…all essential to furthering the agricultural mission of the Fair. These facility enhancements will enable CCF to continue to award farmers for their quality exhibits, inform the public through farm-related educational booths and displays, engage youth and adults in competitive livestock shows and judging contests, and connect non-farm families to agriculture and its contributions to our local economy and quality of life….thereby sustaining production agriculture as Cleveland County’s leading industry.
