The Town of Elkin’s Main Street Advisory Board will contract a local awning company to add approximately 1500 SF of extended coverage around three additional sides of the current farmers market shelter, using retractable awnings. The awnings will provide additional coverage from excessive sun and inclement weather, benefitting, and protecting market customers, vendors and their products.
