Local products sourced from NC food systems are in high demand, and TRACTOR seeks to connect our network of farmers from a historically tobacco-led community with new and untapped markets. TRACTOR is experienced in developing novel markets which prioritize local farmers and consumers, including sales through wholesale markets, institutions, CSAs, clinical programs, SNAP/EBT, food pantries, groceries, food banks and local retailers. Our dedicated Sales and Marketing Contractor will leverage these markets to increase small farm revenue and/or production, increase access to local foods and further diversify markets to develop a stronger farm economy in WNC.
