Through NC State Extension, the GrowDairy Initiative will provide educational and financial resources to North Carolina dairy farmers in an effort to sustain and grow the dairy industry. Producers will work directly with Extension to cost share consultants fees to troubleshoot problem areas and identify solutions for which SDBII funds, a new Federal cost share program, that would be used for equipment and/or technology. Both farm families and their communities benefit economically when local dairys grow.
