This project will continue to support a robust, statewide internship program that helps Agricultural Institute (AGI) students gain relevant work experience and on-the-job learning by matching them with farmers, businesses, and other organizations. The project helps AGI students develop the professional, interpersonal, and leadership skills they will need to meet the challenges of an increasingly globalized economy. It will also allow employers to diversify their workforce. In addition, internships help connects students and faculty with local economies to ensure graduates are coming into the workforce prepared for current economic realities.
