Unified Approach in Eradicating GRKN

The NC Sweetpotato Commission Foundation will work with industry professionals and researchers to develop a Unified Approach in Eradicating GRKN. Guava Root-Knot Nematode has drastically harmed the sweetpotato industry and despite efforts to mitigate this damage, viable solutions do not exist. Through a unified effort, led by an expert GRKN Project Coordinator, strides will be taken to advance research efforts and provide growers with consultations and soil and nematode testing. Breaking down barriers of information and increasing urgency will increase the profitability of sweetpotato growers through research advancements.
