Sustainable Hemp Production Using Microbes
North Carolina State University (NCSU) will coordinate and manage research efforts to collect and evaluate plant health and plant disease management benefits from beneficial bacteria. The research from this project will be used to educate farmers about disease management using low-risk biologicals and supporting plant health of hemp crops to increase the productivity and economic stability for regions affected by reduced tobacco acres.
