Small Farm Resilience and Recovery

ASAP will offer farmers a cost share program to support marketing projects with the goals of increasing the economic viability of Western North Carolina farms and supporting long-term recovery in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. Cost share will be paired with training and technical assistance on marketing strategies. The project will serve small farms that have been adversely affected by Helene and changes to the tobacco industry, focusing on limited resource farmers.
