Skilling Up

Skilling Up is a workforce development initiative that provides training, skills assessment and financial assistance for students so that they can enhance their skills and/or move into new careers. Students must have an agricultural connection whether through their family or through previous employment. Students with ties to the tobacco industry will be given priority. The program will also implement a Small Food Business Conference to train new and emerging food businesses.
