Sanford Agricultural Marketplace Pavilion Expansion

The City of Sanford will expand their proposed covered farmer’s market space at their newly constructed Sanford Agricultural Marketplace. Extending the market space by 2,843 square feet will increase its total size by almost 50%, thus allowing an additional 11 to 12 vendor spaces. The additional space will afford more farmers the opportunity to participate in direct-to-consumer sale opportunities while increasing their revenue potential, addressing demand for both consumers and suppliers, as Lee County and its surrounding areas continue to experience significant population growth.
