Project Pear Further Farming Integration

Year Funded

2024

Amount

$500,000.00

Economic Development will assist an established agricultural company and the local farming and grain growing community with the construction of a new state-of-the-art grain handling, drying, and storage facility. Presently, limited grain storage and handling capabilities lead to long unload times and gross inefficiencies at times. The Project will greatly benefit the company and the local farming community by adding a large volume of additional grain storage capacity and unparalleled unloading and drying capabilities. This will allow farmers to return to harvesting expeditiously allowing them to increase efficiency and lower their operating costs.
