NECP Greenhouse Modernization Project

The NECP Agricultural Education Department will enclose a portion of the school grounds with a chain link fence and modernize the existing greenhouse structure by adding cooling fans, a cool cell, install a heat source, and renovate by replacing the wooden parts of the structure with metal, spreading rock on the floor and installing tables. Secondly, funding will be used to build a headhouse to store pots, potting soil, seeds, etc. and a large shade house to diversify production methods. Finally, funding will be used to build a new, state of the art 35′ x 48′ greenhouse.
