Nash County Outdoor Education Classroom
Nash County plans to design and construct a 20’x44′ outdoor classroom to serve as a dedicated space for agricultural and environmental education. This facility will support programs led by the Nash County Cooperative Extension and the Nash County Soil and Water Conservation District, offering hands-on learning experiences, workshops, and community events. The Soil and Water Conservation District implements conservation initiatives to address the county’s natural resource concerns, while the Cooperative Extension provides programs in 4-H, Agriculture and Natural Resources, Community Development, and Local Foods. This project will foster education, sustainability, and community engagement for residents of all ages.
