Mount Olive Area Farmers’ Market

The Town of Mount Olive will design/build/operate a 36? by 60? open air area farmers’ market on concrete slab with vendor spaces, parking, restrooms, signage in cooperation with NCTTFC. Bordered by a fence/sidewalks, the market will provide southern Wayne-Duplin farmers an outlet for products, residents with accessible fresh produce, and merchants with increased customers. The town will monitor/rent spaces; gather data about the project?s success with support from Mount Olive Community Development Corporation, the Chamber of Commerce, Mount Olive Presbyterian Church, First Baptist Church and local businesses. The project will begin in November 2023 and be completed by December 2025.
