Healthy Farm, Strong Agriculture Community

NC State Extension Community and Rural Development will lead and execute the project in partnership with The NC Agricultural Foundation, Inc. The project will provide a menu of training options to farmers, helping them to target farm health and safety needs and assist with mandatory training compliance needed for GAP certification and EPA Worker Protection Standards. The training will be available to be conducted on-farm and multi-farm at the Community sites. The project outcomes include increasing knowledge and preventive behaviors to produce high-quality crops, providing a healthy work environment, and increasing the ease of compliance with mandatory training.
