GrowDairy: Increasing Dairy Farm Competitiveness

The NC Agricultural Foundation on behalf of GrowDairy and NC Dairy Extension will establish a statewide milk testing program for small and value-added dairy farms. NC GrowDairy will also partner with other state organizations to establish biosecurity training programs and plans of action for dairy operations (commercial and value added) considering the emerging outbreak of HPAI. These programs will increase security and profitability of NC dairy farms, ensuring a stable, agriculture based income for many rural areas of NC.
