Food Safety for Farmers’ Markets
Through this project an evidence-based food safety training program for NC Farmers’ Markets operators and vendors will be established and evaluated for efficiency. This program will be built specifically for the actual practices of vendors by assessing the current practices across the state. Practical solutions will be provided for food safety issues and help create a food safety culture within farmers markets.
