Farm & Food-Hub Post-Pandemic Revitalization

Year Funded

2022

Amount

$165,048

Through a one-time, post-pandemic investment in improving infrastructure and optimizing operations, Farmer Foodshare will rebuild the capacity needed to expand sales for small/mid-scale NC farms. Over the course of two years, grantee will return to pre-pandemic levels of service, extending their food hub’s customer base to include institutions (such as schools and universities), businesses (including grocery stores and restaurants), and nonprofits. Sales to these customers will increase revenue for the farmers in their Farmer Network.
