Connecting farmers to wholesale markets

Working Landscapes will expand the capabilities and efficiency of our ByWay Foods value-added vegetable processing hub by adding new specialized equipment that enables us to serve broader wholesale markets in North Carolina and Virginia; these improvements will help us to increase sales more than five-fold. We will also increase the financial sustainability of 30 farm suppliers by 1) increasing their access to markets and 2) decreasing their input costs through implementation of soil health practices.?
