Caswell CEAD Incubator Farm Program

Piedmont Community College, in partnership with the local Agriculture Extension Agency, will transform historic tobacco fields into a 10–12-acre incubator farm at its Center for Agriculture Education and Development (CEAD) to facilitate education, production, and retail opportunities for Caswell County farmers and entrepreneurs. This project will help build new markets and visibility for Caswell’s local food products. Incubating local food and agriculture enterprises will build a thriving rural economy and food system in Caswell County.
