Agriculture Facilities Expansion & Improvement

Bladen Community College’s Agribusiness Department will enhance and expand its program through strategic investments in equipment, instructional supplies, and infrastructure upgrades across two campus locations. The Booker T. Washington site will undergo improvements, including adding electrical access and irrigation installation, paving the way for three hoop greenhouses. Students will cultivate three acres using a 50-horsepower tractor and seeder, gaining hands-on agricultural experience. These efforts will strengthening the pipeline of skilled professionals.
