ACC Growing Greater Agricultural Skills
Alamance Community College will install a tobacco-style greenhouse, potting shed, storage area, livestock fencing, corral, and handling system, and purchase equipment and supplies for the new veterinary medical technology program and livestock to enhance the learning opportunities available to the local agricultural community and students. This will increase the earning potential of individuals and increase the tax base of Alamance County while preserving and enriching the local agricultural sector. While students come to ACC’s Agricultural Programs from surrounding counties, and those areas will also benefit, all funds will be spent at ACC.
